Eta Scale Open Source License

Eta Scale Software refers to ArgoDSM, Clairvoyance, and Daedal Software.

(Eta Scale Software does not include SPLASH-3 which is under a different licence)

By accessing or using Eta Scale Software in any form you expressly undertake to be bound by these license terms. If you use the code on behalf of a business, you agree

to these license terms both in person and on behalf of that business and you

represent that you have the authority to do so.

1) Alternative License

Eta Scale Software is distributed under a dual-license scheme, an open source and

a commercial license. This document is the open source license.

3) Copyleft for Software Distribution

Redistribution and use in source and binary forms, with or without

modification, are permitted provided that the following conditions

Eta Scale Software Open Source License. Redistributions in binary form must

reproduce the terms of the Eta Scale Open Source License in the

documentation and/or other materials provided with the distribution.

Neither redistributions in source code or in binary form may impose

any further restrictions on the exercise of the rights granted or

affirmed under the Eta Scale Open Source License.

Redistributions in any form must be accompanied by information on how to

obtain complete source code for the Eta Scale Software and any

accompanying software that uses the Eta Scale Software. The source code

must either be included in the distribution or be available for no

more than the cost of distribution. For an executable file, complete

source code means the source code for all modules it contains. It does

Neither the names Eta Scale, ArgoDSM, Clairvoyance, Daedal

4) Copyleft for Software Users

Notwithstanding any other provision of the Eta Scale Open Source

License, if you modify the Eta Scale software, your modified version

must prominently offer all users interacting with it an opportunity to

receive the corresponding source code of your version.

If the interaction happens remotely through a computer network (if

your version supports such interaction) an opportunity to receive the

corresponding source code of your version by providing access to the

corresponding source code from a network server at no charge, through

some standard or customary means of facilitating copying of software.

5) License for Contributions

For any of your modifications or other derivations of the Eta Scale Software

source code ("your Contributions"), you grant Eta Scale AB a

non-exclusive, irrevocable, worldwide, no-charge, transferable license

to use, execute, create derivative works of, and distribute

(internally and externally) or otherwise use commercially or

non-commercially your Contributions, in any form (including, but not

limited to binary and source code forms).

Except for the rights granted to Eta Scale AB in this paragraph, you

reserve all rights, title and interest in and to your Contributions.

6) Non-Severability of the Eta Scale Open Source License

If any part of the Eta Scale Open Source License is invalid, or becomes

invalid, then the entire license shall become invalid, and any rights

you derived from the Eta Scale Open Source License shall be null and void.

This shall not affect the License for your Contributions that you have

given according to Section 5 of the Eta Scale Open Source License, which

shall remain valid even if the Eta Scale Open Source License itself is

invalid, or becomes invalid.

7) Choice of Law

This license shall be governed by the laws of Sweden, excluding choice

of law provisions.
